ERHL Eagleridge Roller Hockey League

IPSMG founded and operated Island Pacific Roller Hockey League in 1994 with 12 neighbourhood road hockey kids and developed it into 400 players aged 517 within a couple of years. As a co-founder of BC Inline Hockey Association ( and active members, IPSMG helped drive this new sport forward.

At the same time, Sportstraders Rollerhockey League for adults was growing parallel. Sensing the natural feeding system of one league into the other, the two leagues amalgamated under the management of IPSMG as the league operators in 2002. The league operated through 2006 as the SPORTS TRADERS ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE until the new year-round facility in Langford opened that spring. Recognizing the opportunity to work with the operator of Eagle Ridge Community Centre and together develop the sport to the next level, the new name became EAGLERIDGE ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE. IPSMG continues to operate this league with a combination of paid and volunteer positions.

There are now over 2000 players in the development, youth, junior, varsity and adult leagues combined, playing three distinct seasons (Winter, Spring & Fall). For more information go to
